~~

So much for flipping a new leaf, I thought as I re-read the words across my screen.

“I’m a b*tch” was sent out to everyone on my contact list.

I closed my eyes, held my breath and counted to ten.
Calm down Haya, calm down.
In the end, they’re the ones who are going to pay.
They’re the ones who are going to suffer.

I simply replied to my dad’s message telling him that I did not send the broadcast, and that I would explain everything when I was home. Thankfully, I’ve only had this phone for about a month now, so I didn’t have that many contacts, which meant I didn’t have to explain the situation to a lot of people.

**
“Inzain ma gilteelaha shay?”  My dad asked.
I had just explained the whole salfa to him, and il7amdillah he believed me.

“La2. I’m still debating on whether or not I should confront her. I mean, it’s not going to change anything. The broadcast will still have been sent.”

My mom joined the conversation.

“leman itshoofeenha lat 3a6eenha wayh, it will make her look like the immature one.”

My mom was right. Shaikha is the one who gives me dirty stares, she’s the one who talks about me, and she’s the one who sends inappropriate broadcasts from my phone. Eventually people will realize that I really haven’t done anything wrong to her, and she’s just 8aleelat el adab.

I kissed my mom and dad goodnight and went to bed.

**
I woke up the next morning at 12.
Allaaah, I finally got to sleep in<3

Kamila knocked on my door.

“Haya, tutor is here.”
I groaned. I really wasn’t in the mood for math in the morning.
“Please tell him I am not home.”
“Haya I tell him last week same thing! He will know!”
“No trust me, he won’t, please just tell him.”
Kamila walked away and I could tell she was annoyed.

I mean seriously, who’s in the mood for Algebra right when they wake up?

After a relaxing shower, I called the girls and saw if any of them wanted to come with me to Eden, I wanted to get a mani pedi.  Ghalia was the only one who wasn’t busy, so I told her I would pick her up.

“Hey baby” I said, as Ghalia got in the car.
“Hey sweet cheeks” she replied.
“Hey cupcake” I responded.
“Inzain bas chub”
I laughed out our idiotic-ness.

We got to the salon in what seemed like two minutes, with Ghalia entertaining me the whole way there.

Ghalia got black and blue ombré done nails, and I got mine in white and pink.
They looked fabulous.

I heard a familiar laugh.

Next to me was Shaikha, with only Deema. What happened to the other plastic friend? Was she finally recycled?

When Shaikha saw me, she waved and gave me a smile that showed how much she wanted to push me off a cliff. I completey ignored her.

Me and Ghalia finished up and as we were walking out the door I heard Shaikha call me the same thing that was on the broadcast she sent from my phone.

I turned right back around and headed to where Shaikha was standing.
